How much do you charge for your cakes?
All our cakes are custom made, so there are lots of variables, like size, flavours, & complexity. For a Guide all our Novelty cakes are from $150. Please contact us with your cake enquiry and we will be happy to give you a detailed quote.

How much do you charge for wedding cakes?

Do you deliver your cakes, cookies or cupcakes, what is the delivery charge?
Cupcake Party delivers all over Sydney, this is for the convenience of our customers, and also to ensure the cake, cupcakes or cookies arrive in perfect condition. Delivery is charged at $1 per km. Delivery may be more if multiple tolls need to be paid.

How much are wedding consultations, and what do they involve?
A Wedding consultation is a way for you to try a few different cake flavours, meet with Naomi, and have her draw up a cake sketch; there is no obligation to buy a wedding cake. A cake consultation takes place at a time and venue convenient to you. A wedding cake consultation is $50 and should you order it is fully deductable from your cake price.

What sort of cake flavors do you have?

I have a favourite cake flavour, but I can't see that you make it, could you?
Yes of course we can. We can make lots of different cake flavours and a lot that aren't even listed. Just bear in mind that some cakes don't lend well to being sculpted, carved of stacked. Ask us and we are more than happy to tell you if it’s possible.

How can I order cake/cupcake/cookies?

Orders are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from us/ invoice/ deposit paid.

How far in advance do I need to put in my order?
Orders should be made as soon as you know a date for your event, final details of the cake can be changed up to 2 weeks before the event. That said we have taken orders a week before an event, but it does depend on availability, and once we are booked to capacity for a date we are not able to take on any more orders
  
Is a deposit required when placing an order?
Yes a 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. 

What methods of payment do you accept? 
We accept Bank deposit, cash, cheque addressed to Naomi Elliott, or PayPal (elliott.naomi@gmail.com)

Do you make display cakes?
Yes we have made many display cakes, display cakes can be used in shop windows, for photo shoots, and also as a dummy wedding cake. Display cakes are great for the effect of cake... without all the cake.

Can you make edible image cakes/cupcakes or cookies?
Edible images are quite popular, and we are able to do them. 

Do you offer logo cakes/cupcakes or cookies for corporate events?
Yes absolutely.

Do you offer cake decorating classes?
We can offer classes with our children's party packages, or individual or small group classes on request. Classes will be held in a local community hall, or alternatively we can come to you. 

Will you set-up and deliver my cake?
Yes, everything will be done for you so you don’t have to worry on your special day, this is usually done 2 hrs before the reception starts, and I will contact the venue and arrange a time that is suitable for all parties.

My grandmother wants to make a cake to the family recipe, can you decorate it?
Yes absolutely, if you want to bake the cake we are happy to decorate it.
 
How do you stop a cake from collapsing?
All our tiered cakes are doweled this supports each individual layer of cake which prevents it from collapsing.
 
I have an allergy... Help?
We make all our cakes form start to finish from scratch, so any allergies or dietary requirements can be met. Gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, halal. As a legal requirement we have to notify you that there may be traces of nuts, gluten, or dairy. This is due to the fact that the food is prepared in the same kitchen that uses these ingredients. 

Payment terms and cancellation policy 
Payment Conditions: A non-refundable deposit of twenty five percent (25%) of the quoted service fee is required to be received by Cupcake Party by direct credit into Cupcake Party’s nominated account only at time of booking to secure the customer’s requested date and time. Cupcake Party will not reserve your date and time until payment of deposit has been received. Payment of balance in full is required no later than five (5) business (Monday-Friday) days prior to your booked date by way of direct credit into Cupcake Party’s nominated account only. Cupcake Party reserves the right to cancel any booking (which will result in forfeiture of deposit) where balance payment in full has not been received five (5) business days prior to the booked date. Cash payments will not be accepted. Change of Date and Time Conditions: Where a change of date and/or time are requested by the customer after a booking has been made, Cupcake Party will, without any acceptance of liability, attempt to accommodate the customer’s request provided that the request is made no later than five (5) business days prior to the booked date. However, in the event that the customer’s requested alternative date and time cannot be serviced by Cupcake Party the customer agrees that the non-refundable deposit shall be forfeited to Cupcake Party. No changes to date and time will be accepted within five (5) business days of the booked date except at the sole discretion of Cupcake Party. Cancellation Conditions: The customer agrees that all cancellations made at any time after booking shall be subject to forfeiture of deposit at the sole discretion of Cupcake Party. The customer agrees that if a cancellation is made within five (5) business days of the booked date then the customer shall forfeit fifty percent (50%) of the quoted service fee by way of a cancellation fee and any balance shall be refunded to the customer by Cupcake Party by way of direct credit into the customer’s nominated account within five (5) business days. Where a cancellation has to be made by Cupcake Party then the deposit and any balance paid shall be refunded in full to the customer by Cupcake Party by way of direct credit into the customer’s nominated account within five (5) business days. Short-term Booking Conditions: Any bookings made with less than five (5) business days notice requires payment by direct credit of the quoted service fee in full to secure the date and time and the customer agrees that payments made are subject to the cancellation conditions above. Cupcake Party will not reserve any new bookings within five (5) business days until payment in full has been received and Cupcake Party reserves the right to accept conflicting bookings, at its sole discretion, up until payment has been confirmed as received. Acceptance of these Conditions: The customer agrees to be bound by the conditions above upon payment of deposit/service fee.
